Meili Cady has built her career through a diverse variety of projects. Her background in acting trained her to deliver a strong on-camera persona. Writing a memoir honed her ability to shape true stories to be entertaining without compromising honesty. Her work in lifestyle media taught her how to create viral content for mainstream audiences, and consulting for companies—including Microsoft and France’s #1-selling cider brand—sharpened her eye for branding and social media.

Meili has appeared in a mix of TV shows and movies, beginning on Californication in 2008. In 2007, she hosted the red carpet at Paramount Studios New Year’s Eve party, interviewing celebrities and guests. She starred in the movie Chick Magnet on Showtime and was cast in a principal role in a Toyota commercial in 2015.

Meili has also been a guest on various talk shows—including Ricki Lake and New Day Northwest—discussing what she learned from formative experiences in her early twenties in Hollywood.

Meili’s passion for local news inspired her to create the website The Flannel Persuasion: a guide to Seattle’s best, beyond the coffee (but also, sometimes coffee). In its infancy, it has already generated social media reposts from major companies, such as Pressed Juicery and Juicebox Cafe, which speaks to the caliber and salability of its content.

Meili has been a regular contributor to Narcity Media, covering recreation and events in and around Seattle.

Meili was the Social Media and Community Manager for Louis Raison, France’s #1-selling cider, in their US launch in 2018. She managed all aspects of social media—including analytics, ad strategies, and overall creative direction. She photographed all images and wrote copy for every post. Meili was also was in charge of influencer outreach and developed productive partnerships to drive brand awareness. Her efforts led to a 68% increase in reach and 69% increase in total impressions on social media.
